Sprinting toward the ball, sophomore Tommy Horejes collides with an opposing Ladue player during a district game, Nov. 4 . Due to the incident, Horejes suffered a broken finger in the fall. “He stopped in front of me and backed into me and I just jumped over him and landed hard. I( got a warning and almost a yellow card which would’ve been my sixth of the year. After that, I didn’t know at the time because of the adrenaline, but I went into halftime and I got my finger taped, and didn’t think much of it. Later after the game, I took the tape off and looked at my hand and it was swollen up. I broke my finger and I’m not in a brace for 4-6 weeks.”
