When the seasons begin to change in STL, so does the menu at Circle 7 Ranch. As we approach the fall season, Circle 7 is ready to introduce their new fall menu.
From drinks to desserts, Circle 7 Ranch has no trouble encompassing the spooky season. The most notable thing they have released is their new Pumpkin Lava Cake.
This new dessert consists of a pumpkin spice-flavored cake, with icing drizzled in the middle, a side of whipped cream, and a sprinkle of cinnamon.
When we heard that our favorite restaurant was releasing a new dessert, we knew we had to try it. We hopped in Emma’s car, played our favorite songs, and headed on our way to Circle 7 Ranch.
When we arrived, the wait was a little longer than expected, but it was no problem! We were willing to wait as long as we needed to get our hands on this cake.
We indulged in a light appetizer of their famous Spinach Artichoke Dip (which we also recommend you try), but that wasn’t the star of the show.
When the Pumpkin Lava Cake came out fresh from the kitchen, the nutty aroma filled the air. Our mouths began to water at the sight of the delicious cake in front of us. At the first bite, we were hit with the flavors of pumpkin spice and cinnamon, and the sweet, rich icing added a perfect touch to the already amazing cake.
Before we knew it, all that was left on the plate were crumbs! That’s the only knock we have on this dessert – we wish we had more. The cake was a good size for $8, but we definitely recommend ordering two if you’re sharing with others.
This new release replaces their seasonal summer dessert, a tangy, sweet lemon cake. Although the cake was delicious, we think that the fall dessert “took the cake” between the two.
Whether you’re looking for a light snack or a delicious dessert, we will always recommend Circle 7 Ranch. Hurry on down to either of their locations, one in Town and Country on Clayton Road by West High School, and the other located on Manchester Road in Des Peres to give this delicious dessert a try.
Make sure you hurry on down to Circle 7 Ranch to give their pumpkin cake a try and keep an eye out for their winter desserts as we are beginning to creep into the holiday seasons.
Within the St. Louis area, there are two main locations, one in Town and Country on Clayton Road by West High School, and the other located on Manchester Road in Des Peres.
Circle 7 Ranch can do it all. Whether you’re looking for a casual family dinner or celebrating with a large party, they have got you covered. Both of the restaurants have your typical sports bar set up. The classic long bar seating, while also having high top, booth, and regular tables if you’re going for more of their restaurant vibe. Additionally, they offer party rooms to house larger groups coming in.
Now let’s get into the good stuff, the food.

We all may be a little biased, but even after stuffing our stomachs with their classic spinach artichoke dip, sweet potato fries and tots, wings, and burgers; we definitely had enough room for their cake.
The cake has the perfect balance of sweet and spice, and the icing in the middle adds a perfect touch to the already amazing cake. This new addition follows Circle 7’s summer dessert, which was a lemon cake which. We have to say; this new pumpkin cake might “take the cake” between the two.
Additionally, the cake is a relatively good price of $8, which split between three people is a pretty dang good deal.
If we could change one thing about our cake experience, we would have ordered two. The cake was a little too small to share with three people and you might not even get by with just one if you’re even with two people.
We would recommend ordering an additional dessert along with the cake if you are with more than one person.
Circle 7 has a wide variety of desserts to choose from like their warm Salted Caramel Brownie Delight or if you are looking for a sweet drink they also have classic floats with your choice of cream soda from Fitz’s–another STL-based company.
Drive your way down to 14412 Clayton Rd, Ballwin, MO 63011 for the Town and Country location or 11769 Manchester Rd #4616, St. Louis, MO 63131 for their Kirkwood location. Both restaurants open at 3pm and close at 12am, but make sure to come in before the kitchen closes at 10pm. Happy spooky season!
