Learning outside of the classroom is important and it would be good if South made field trips more normal.

One reason field trips are beneficial is because you can collaborate with peers. Collaborating with peers in high school is important because it helps students learn from each other, gain different perspectives, and develop teamwork skills. It’s an opportunity for students to share ideas, solve problems together, and support each other. Plus collaborating with peers can make learning fun and engaging. So let’s team up and make high school an awesome place to learn and grow. Collaborating with peers helps us develop essential teamwork skills. In the real world, most tasks and projects require collaboration and cooperation. By working with our peers in high schools , we learn how to communicate effectively , delegate tasks and contribute to a common goal. These skills are invaluable and will benefit us in future endeavors. Lastly collaborating with peers in high school prepares us for the future. In college, In the workplace and in life, we will frequently encounter situations that require teamwork and collaboration. For example on my middle school field trip to the Saint Louis Zoo I was able to come together with students I never thought I would connect with.

Another reason is field trips give high school students a break from the classroom but also time to experience the outdoors while still learning; It’s a chance to learn in a more hands-on and engaging way. Field trips allow us to see and experience things first-hand, which helps us understand and remember the information better vs sitting in a classroom being lectured while taking notes. Plus it’s a nice change of scenery and a break from the usual school routine. Field trips also give us the opportunity to bond with our classmates and create fun memories together. Again we get to step out in the real world and see concepts we are studying come to life. Mr. Richardson’s Zoology class went to the Saint Louis Zoo and just to be able to see how animals act vs just talk about most likely made so much more sense.

Culture Exposure. Culture exposure broadens our horizons and helps us understand and appreciate different ways of life. It teaches us about diversity, tolerance and empathy. By experiencing different cultures, we gain a deeper understanding of the world and become more open minded individuals. Plus it’s just really fun to try new things whether it’s food, different traditions or unique customs. We will learn to promote lifelong learning. Cultures are evolving and by staying open to new experiences we can continue to learn and grow throughout our lives.

Finally people may be against field trips because it may be pricey, irrelevant or just un educational. Hopefully this article will persuade you that field trips are beneficial for everyone and not just some free time. Field trips are educational and there’s a place for every single subject. Kids and adults will always remember what field trips they went on and what they saw and learnt rather than what assignment was due before midnight.
