Robb Bock, a business teacher, shares his plans for the adventures the future holds

“I plan to take six months off and get enlightened and work around the house. First travel in short 4-5 day trips and start in St. Louis and see all I can see here then work my way out to Mount Rushmore to Grand Cannon. Then start going on social media and figuring that out.”

Bock also explains some of the emotions that retirement brings him

“It’s bittersweet but still great. I know I will miss the everyday life that I had before. I will miss the interactions with students and the relationships that I have built with the people here.”

As Bock looks forward to the future he also takes time to look in the past at the memories.

“The New York trips with DECA and also our trip to nationals. All the fun that we had learning, laughing, and singing. The people, students, and staff, helped create some great memories that won’t be forgotten.”

Throughout the years, Bock reflects on how he has grown and offers some words of advice.

“I have learned to be open-minded and accepting of everyone. Kindness does a long way and no matter what troubles you, you have to think there is an entire classroom of students with a world of troubles too, so being there for them and always telling jokes to spread laughter. But wherever you are be yourself and great things will happen unless you’re a rotten person then try to be someone better.”
