We’re back with hopefully another great season for the Parkway South volleyball team coached by Mrs.Carrie Steele. With a few returning seniors this season the volleyball team is looking very young and excited to play.

One player in particular,  Freshman Mikayla McCoy, can’t wait to get out there and start the season.

“ My personal goals for this season are to make sure the seniors have a great season,” said McCoy. Which shouldn’t be a problem when senior Kate Eihausen goals for the season

“ To have as much fun my senior year that I can”

Mrs.Steele knows how to coach a team she has had very successful players and teams leave parkway south and I think we are going to have another one this year. She’s got a lot of talent this year and even though they are going up some big schools such as Marquette, Eureka, and Lafayette . When asking Mrs.Steele how she thinks the season will go she says

“Expect girls to compete every night but they need to be consistent.  They are a great group of girls and they work hard every day just need to translate that into games.”

So make sure to keep your eyes out this year for parkway south volleyball.
