Junior Class VP Mazinkhan Nadaf

1. Why did you decide to run for office?

I thought it would be a fun and effective way to be active in the school community and bring positive change

2. How did you feel when you found out that you won?

I felt very excited to hear the good news and felt that all of our group’s hard work had paid off

3. What was the best part about campaigning?

The best part of campaigning was that we got to be politicians, and coming up with and discussing campaign strategies was very fun

4. What are you planning to do in student government next year?

The three of us will try to make Junior year the best it can be by making sure everyone feels safe and welcome, setting up service projects, bringing positive change, and making up for the time we lost to Covid

5. How are you going to make South a better place?

We are going to try and make sure that everyone feels included and part of the school community, and we will take input from everyone in the class when it comes to making changes
